"Check out my chinchilla" |
You know of the creek that goes about its business through these old mountains. You can't hear that rolling current, nor can you hear the wind- but you sure can smell the water and feel the chill on the breeze and the trees greeting you in a silent chorus of waving leaves. You can remember when they started moving everyone out of the home. It began with a trickle and soon enough nobody remained but you. Though memories are hard to come by, you have a feeling someone was near and dear to your heart. Memories of Star Trek marathons, hikes in the mountains, and playing banjo together as the world became quiet. Her name escapes you. Word is that the nearby town is on the decline. |

General Notes
Chris can be freely used in conservatory drawings. She's generally relaxed in personality, but can have a hair-trigger temper. Chris is not above making a scene in order to be left alone, she's very vocal about her comfort and is not one to languish in general. She's seen most often talking with whoever decides to say hello and playing Dungeons and Dragons with Sol. There are more nerds out there than she anticipated.
Chris is also deaf; his deafness in life was progressive, so he can remember the sound of a few things. His train of thought is primarily in American Sign Language, but he can understand when other esks talk to him and can be understood in the way telepathy allows. The only thing being that he cannot hear his surroundings- no rustling of leaves, no burble of the creek, no howl in the wind (it's okay, he's not angsty about it- it's just a fact of life).
Regarding pronouns, she doesn't care if you use one or both- she's flexible!
Chris is rarely seen at her boundary, too many foul memories and ghosts lurk there. Although she will occassionally humor ghost hunters who are drawn to her haunting. Memories come and go, and there's a 1/4th chance she can answer a question about her past. She is usually willing to talk about her time as a rural mail carrier and her family. We don't talk about Ivy though.

Relationships
As an esk, her main pal is Sol. Playing Dungeons and Dragons (first edition) together helps pass the time. Their campaign has been going on for over 20 years now! The two of them will gossip to each other about anything they find interesting going on in their ghostliness. Feel free to join a (fake) campaign C:
